Shot List –
I have a standard shot list that has developed naturally from shooting for many years, which is: full composition or cover shot, medium shot, high angle, low angle, floor shot (where the model and I are both sitting on the floor and at the same level), tilt angle, body parts/close-ups, and horizontal framing. Sometimes I will experiment and try for some artistic and creative shots (see last samples), but most angles will fall into these 8 categories.
1. Full Composition or cover shot (whole photo subject in the frame with negative space above the model’s head)
2. Medium shot
3. High Angle Composition
4. Low Angle Composition
5. Floor Shot
6. Tilt Angle
7. Body parts/close-ups
8. Horizontal framing
9. Artistic shots
